3D Scene, going into the computer

For this phase of development we focused on creating a 3D scene that showcases the moment the player chooses themselves to enter the computer to continue the story. We designed the maze to have flickering code to simulate what being inside a computer might look like
Why a Maze?
We wanted to shock the player by immediately dropping them in the 3d scene with no build up to disorient them, by forcing them to traverse a disorientating environment of flashing code and daunting music, by doing this we heighten the horror atmosphere and showcase the player that this realm is unstable
The images show the code that flickers with the narrow walls to give a claustrophobic layout to keep tension high and to make the environment feel more daunting to the player
Across the entire maze there is text flickering and moving across the screen of the player saying different things in either the colour red or green, the switching of the colours showcases the player the fight for control between Noah(Green) and Void(Red)
We relied entirely on the glow of the code to light the way for the player to really make them feel immersed and engaged in this world
Atmosphere
By the time the player reaches the end of the maze and comes in contact with Noah and triggers the collider on him, the player will have understood they have been tricked as all the walls turn red and the text switches from "010101" to "HAHAHA" to further showcase the player they have been tricked into this world
The music then intensifies greatly when the collider is triggered to further drive home the fact that the there is nothing the player can do from this point
